The Netherlands lineup, The Imperial, has announced today some changes to their Call of Duty 4 team. They have decided to remove player Aerox due to him not being able to practise with the team for the events this summer.
The player Aerox will be replaced by Olivier "eXo" Andersen Röed, who is known for his time in Simple This and Exabyte who have just recently just folded. They will be attending Outpost On Fire and The eXperience in Denmark.
The Imperial line-up is the following:
Sander "Fatal" Quaedvlieg
Brian "Vince" Huizinga
Roy "Obama" Godschalk
Erik "Froster" van den Biggelaar
Olivier "eXo" Andersen Röed
Robert "mean" Kouters (Inactive)
Statement Roy "Obama" Godschalk:
"Brian ‘Vince’ Huizinga and I started playing with Aerox about 8 months ago under the tag of PKRSTARS. We played several LANs together with FATLAN as our biggest achievement. It was a long road with good and bad moments but we always kept playing regularly because we had the same goal. With the Summer LANs starting soon we, as a team, felt that we needed a change to perform well at Outpost on Fire 3 and the-eXperience, especially after we realized that Aerox was going to Tunesia for a week so we couldn’t practice at all. Luckily for us eXo was there to help us out and he will play both events with us and after the events he will stay with us as our new Scope. We all want to wish Aerox the best of luck in the future and I’m sure he will find himself a nice team."
