** UPDATE - the roster and statement announcing the team has been removed from the 4k site. It would seem the team has been removed for the team being a statement from 4K regarding what happened is below**

Today gaming organisation 4Kings has annouced they will be picking up a new cod4 team in the form of Made in Drabble. midr are a team currently playing in the EPS and ranking 6th with a respectable 13:9 loss against dignitas in the first round. The team originates from TLR when TLR.cod4 split into two seperate sides (more info here) following internal conflicts, midr was the side rejected by TLR but still have the potential to prove themselves.

Some players have questioned the dedication of this team as players such as D1ablo are known haters of COD4 and infact first reports seem to suggest D1ablo not even agreeing to be a part of 4Kings. 4Kings is hoping to make a comeback with 4K manager JavaX stating:

 4Kings has been a hot topic of conversation recently with the loss of a number of personnel and teams, but it's time to let the reconstruction commence. Expect more team announcements in the coming weeks. 

However this seems to be a bad start despite a reasonable pickup with D1ablo stating:

 MiDR was merely a mix team combined for the ESL and EPS, cod4 is dead and robbing an already dying org for the limited cash sum they have is wrong. Ikky and Goodwin ironically seem to be the only two guys taking the mix team seriously, and it seems like they took it upon themselves to obviously pursuade the completely idiotic management (minus HaZ <3) to pick us up. Good luck to drabble and co, in what ever they do, caio caio. 

New 4Kings player Goodwin gave the following official statement:

 After the split of TLR me and ikky spent some time finding the right players to play alongside us, we are pleased to be joined by junior, benz1ne and D1ablo. Aswell as rebuilding the lineup we have been in talks with many organisations and after long talks we have been offered a spot within the ranks of 4Kings and of course we weren't going to turn the opportunity down. We will be representing 4Kings in EPS, EMS and all major LANs after i35, wish us luck! 

Expect a lineup change soon!

Following what happened 4Kings gave the following statement:

 4Kings' attempted return to Call of Duty 4 hit a proverbial brick wall at 500mph. Whilst the team were ready to join, it appears one member of the line-up was weakly informed by the team captain of what was actually happening. He publicly commented (and he was perfectly within his right to do so) that he was not wishing to play for the organisation, and was leaving the team before it had even started. After this it was clear to all that his commitment to the team differed greatly from the other members. 

 

After an immense amount of embarrassment was caused, we've decided to delay the arrival of the proposed team, Made in Drabble. 

We are still in talks with the team, but are also looking out for alternatives in the mean time. 

This really shows how little they knew before jumping straight in as even a week on tek-9 will show you D1ablo is not mad about COD4. Hopefully 4Kings will consult people who know about the game before picking there next team. I wouldn't discount midr being picked again but D1ablo's history would of been a tempting part of picking the team. midr will continue playing in the EPS for now. It is now confirmed that D1ablo will no longer play for midr.
