It is with a heavy heart I announce that I will be standing down as manager of the CS:S squads of Infused Gaming. As people within the organisation know, as do some of my close friends outside of it, that a combination of both good and bad fortune has made it impossible for me to commit to the job in the way that it deserves. The players and staff we have at Infused deserve complete attention and there can be no room for anyone "phoning in" their efforts.

I have worked with a lot of these players on and off for two years and it is a shame that I won't be around to see them realise their full potential. I am however confident that if they continue to stay true to the ethos we have always shared and continue to work together they will achieve the success they deserve, despite people being quick to suggest the contrary.

A special mention must go to the management team and the board who brought me in to Infused. They gave me a full reign and I have never been treated so well or met such friendly, yet focused, people in gaming. When not fulfilling our duties we enjoyed ourselves at our events and there are many memories to take away from my time, both professional and social.

This is not a knee jerk reaction to anything that may be perceived as "underperformance" at an i-series. This decision was in place before the event but was delayed so as not to disrupt preperation. I take a large chunk of responsibility for our performances as I was not around as much as I should have been and perhaps could have offered more in the build up to what was an important event in the development of this side.

Still, it has been a blast and it is not the end despite this "semi-retirement" limbo I currently find myself in. I will still make contributions to Infused via the website and will make as much time as I can to helping where I can offer something in limited time. If I do decide to return to management it would be right here, with this same set of staff and hopefully players, as they have done so much to make me feel welcome and have rewarded my efforts in ways I had not forseen.

I'd like to thank all the people who have supported Infused and those who have been around following us over the years. I know that there is a lot of potential here, a sleeping giant so to speak, and I look forward to seeing their growth and development with a fans eyes as opposed to being in the midst of it all, for now at least.
