Console scene and coverage hub Decerto have today published an article previewing the long anticipated final of the Console Gaming SteelSeries Tournament which will see our very own Modern Warfare 2 roster face the French underdogs of Mythix Esport, who recently knocked out Don't Poke The Bear in the lower bracket final.
The preview includes a short summary from the staff over at Decerto, as well as numerous predictions by members of the Modern Warfare 2 console community.
The match is scheduled to take place on Sunday 7th of February at 20:00 GMT. Organisers Console Gaming are also planning for a live stream of the match, which we will update you with as soon as we have it ourselves!

This evening, Team Infused Trackmania will be out in force to take part in the MiniTechNet Grand Final, featuring 70 of the very best drivers from around the world, including YoYoTech, Roskilde Ravens & Power Gaming but to name just a few.
The tournament final is expected to last up to two hours and pits all 70 racers against one another in a free for all style battle over three rounds on the three selected competitive maps, so expect some serious mayhem!
Infused Trackmania will be putting a real mix of nationalities out on the grid this evening following their successful qualification before hand. They are as followed:

A double whammy hit Team Infused this evening as our Modern Warfare 2 (360) team were scheduled to play Forward Gaming in the semi-final of the Console Gaming tournament, which could see infused receive a ticket directly to the Grand Final, and continue to go head to head with either the French team of mythiX eSport or the Brit's at Don't Poke The Bear.
A brilliant game ensued, which saw a full five map series between Team Infused and our British opponent FWD, covering four of the most popular maps, namely Favela, Highrise, Terminal & Scrapyard.
The icing on the Modern Warfare 2 cake was the Decerto rankings which were released earlier this evening placed our team SECOND in Europe, right behind TCM-Gaming, and over-shadowing Team-Dignitas, Power Gaming & SK-Gaming; fantastic!

The CoD:MW2 squad is action tonight, in the quarter finals of the Console Gaming tournament. They face Eventus tonight at 9:00PM GMT in a best if five. The winner of this match goes on to play Forward Gaming in the semis.

The start of this week marked the beginning of Irish dueler, 
Ciarán "kRoNic" Rodgers' conquest in the ESL UK Amateur Series (short: EAS), a ladder in which the Team Infused Quake Live star would have to top to secure a place within the fast approaching ESL UK Pro Series Season 3, scheduled to begin in late February.
Despite being widely recognised as one of the UK's finest players, qualification would be required for Rodgers, who would have to battle against at least ten opponents to be eligible for the EPS before the deadline closes.
While generally looking at the ladder, the majority of names may seem unrecognisable as you scroll through, but the top of the table is shadowed by Four-Kings dueler "pulseh", who has clearly been on impressive form recently, having 1293 points to his name.
However our very own "kRoNic" is hot on his trail, having played the minimum ten games this week and not yet to of dropped a single match. Ciarán looks to continue his streak on to the results page of "pulseh", as well as the newest addition to the ladder "GaRpY", another of the best the UK has to offer in Quake Live.
